Una forma de existir en el mundo es ser sensible en todo momento de tu derredor. En esta conferencia Jef Johnson abordará la pregunta fundamental en la Vida: “¿Dónde estoy?” Para entender dónde estoy, debo entender mi posición y mi relación con todas las cosas. Una experiencia más conectada lleva al despertar de los sentidos y un sentido del ser más fresco. Cuando existimos en este estado algo maravilloso ocurre, comenzamos a notar detalles en el mundo que nos rodea y también en el mundo dentro de nosotros mismos. En un estado de percepción conectada, descubrimos una acción que esta inspirada por la emoción y la intuición, libre del miedo y el juicio social. La investigación de Jef Johnson sobre el instinto liberado de los cinco miedos sociales básicos ha tenido un papel decisivo en el desarrollo y crecimiento de profesionales en una amplia variedad de disciplinas.
Enhanced Creativity and Personal Growth through Connected Experience
One way to exist in the world is to be sensitive at all times to your surroundings. In this conference, Jef Johnson will address Life’s fundamental question: “Where am I?” To understand where I am, I must understand my position and relationship to all things. A more connected experience leads to an awakening of the senses and fresher sense of being. When we exist in this state something marvelous occurs, we begin to notice details in the world around us and also in the world within us. In a state of connected awareness, we discover action that is inspired by feeling and intuition, free from social fear and judgement. Jef Johnson’s research in to the liberation of the instinct from the five basic social fears has been instrumental in the development and growth of professionals in a wide variety of disciplines.

Craft and Consciousness in a Fractured World
As artists we are trained to perform, to demonstrate ability, to execute technique.
Performing artists fit into two principal groups: creators (Creative Artists) and demonstrators (Technical Performers). Creative Artists often struggle to balance formal discipline and free expression. Technical Performers function best in a controlled and highly disciplined environment. No matter what kind of practitioner you are, you are unique. You have your own power of perception, your own personal experience, and your own tools for expression.
Only when you truly exist in your art can we see the art in your existence.
Referencing clown, dance and play, Jef Johnson will address some of the challenges of Arts education and the potential of emerging artists to unify a world fractured by insecurity and fear.
Oficio y Consciencia en un Mundo Fracturado
Como artistas hemos sido entrenados a representar, a demostrar nuestra habilidad, a ejecutar la técnica.
Los artistas escénicos caben dentro de dos categorías principales: creadores (Artistas Creadores) y demostradores (Intérpretes Técnicos). Los Artistas Creadores suelen luchar por equilibrar la disciplina formal y la expresión libre. Los Intérpretes Técnicos funcionan mejor en un ambiente controlado y de mucha disciplina. Sin importar a cuál de las dos categorías perteneces eres único. Tienes tu propio poder de percepción, tu propia experiencia personal, y tus propias herramientas de expresión.
Solo cuando existes verdaderamente en tu arte es que podemos ver el arte en tu existencia.
Haciendo referencia al Clown, la danza y el juego, Jef Johnson abordará algunos de los retos en la educación Artística y el potencial de artistas emergentes de unificar un mundo fracturado por la inseguridad y el miedo.
